2 Shows in March 2013

Castleton, Vermont. There will be a Retrospective of Marc’s works at The Christine Price Gallery at Castleton State College in Castleton from March 4 through April 5, 2013.  Marc had booked this show for himself and we’re very glad to be able to make it happen. There is no opening reception per se here (by tradition), but friend and curator Mark Waskow will be offering a Curator’s Talk on Tuesday, March 12 @ 12:30 PM at the gallery, and another one @ 7:00 PM on the same day at the new downtown (Rutland) gallery location of The Chaffee Art Center on Merchants Row.

Burlington, Vermont. There is an exhibition from March 1 to May 30, 2013 at The Innovation Center (former General Dynamic headquarters) on Lakeside Avenue off of Pine Street in Burlington, which features some of Marc Awodey’s larger works.  This site is curated by the South End Arts & Business Association (SEABA), and this rotation of artists’ works is dedicated to Marc.  There will be signage up indicating this.  There are no opening receptions at this location.  The building is open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM each weekday.
